Once again, we proudly present COSTA ADEJE CLASSICS, which returns for its fifth edition.
In its fifth edition, the festival will take place in the New Auditorium of Adeje, a state-of-the-art space that has advanced technology and accessibility features. This state-of-the-art auditorium not only offers a comfortable and modern environment for all attendees, but also ensures an inclusive and accessible experience for people with disabilities. The choice of this emblematic location reinforces the presence of our event, consolidating it in a unique and exceptional environment that enhances the importance and prestige of our festival.
We are pleased to announce the participation of the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra in a chamber format, together with the outstanding Concertina-Conductor Birgit Kolar, who will accompany us on this special occasion. They have prepared a carefully designed program that includes two masterful pieces: the serenades of Antonin Dvorak. In this presentation, both the orchestra and the conductor put themselves at the service of the composer's mastery, ensuring a faithful and passionate interpretation of his works, which promises to provide an unforgettable musical evening for all attendees.
Based on the success of previous editions, COSTA ADEJE CLASSICS has established itself as the main classical music cultural event in the southern region of the island. It has become the annual summer gathering for culture lovers on the island, with a growing international reputation.

The Tenerife Symphony, founded in 1935 as the Canary Islands Chamber Orchestra and managed by the Cabildo of Tenerife, is one of the most prestigious musical institutions in Spain. With more than 85 years of history, Daniel Broncano has recently joined the Tenerife Symphony as technical director of the orchestra. Its programming includes concerts of various genres and periods, as well as sociocultural and educational activities and collaborations with various institutions of the island and the Canary Islands
The orchestra participates in festivals such as the Canary Islands International Music Festival and Fimucité, and collaborates in the Tenerife Opera season. With more than sixty performances annually, she has been a cultural ambassador on international tours through Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom and China. A pioneer in educational concerts for schoolchildren, she also performs popular concerts for thousands of spectators.
Among her more than thirty recordings, several have received national and international recognition. In 1996, he received the Ondas Award. He has worked with prominent conductors and soloists such as Jesús López Cobos, Plácido Domingo, Krystian Zimerman and Ainhoa Arteta. The Tenerife Symphony is a member of the AEOS and the ROCE.
BRIGIT KOLAR

Born in 1970 in Waidhofen/Ybbs (Austria), she began studying violin at the age of six at the local music school. From 1982 she studied at the Vienna University of Music with the concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Rainer Küchl, and his assistant Jela Spitkova. She continued her studies with Wolfgang Schneiderhan in Lucerne, Robert Masters in London and Josef Luitz in Vienna. From 1999 to 2008, Birgit Kolar played as first violinist in the "Münchner Streichquartett" alongside members of the German Radio Symphony Orchestra. Bavaria. As a soloist and chamber musician, she has performed throughout Europe, Japan and South America.
Birgit Kolar was, among other positions, concertmaster of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra from 1994 to 1996. Since Since then, she has played as guest concertmaster in several European orchestras, such as the Bavarian State Orchestra (Munich State Opera), the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, among others, and was regularly invited by the Philharmonic Orchestra of Vienna. From 2003 to 2009, she was an assistant professor at the University of Music in Vienna and in 2011 she was a visiting professor at the Graz University of the Arts.
Birgit Kolar plays a Carlo Bergonzi violin, Cremona 1723, from the "collection of rare instruments" owned by the Austrian National Bank.
